On April 14, 2008, over 5,000 trees were planted on the wetlands including 4600 Bald Cypress, 200 Norway Spruce and 200 Burr Oak.

Doug Putnam checking on the young seedlings two weeks after the planting.  200 Norway Spruce line the property line on the north and west side of the wetlands.
The Bald Cypress seedlings can barely be seen but should thrive in this environment and grow quickly in the next few years.  The ponds on the wetlands have filled and the depth is being regulated by valves throughout the property.
